ERIK MORGAN
Partner
Erik Morgan came to Freestone from Arthur Andersen where he was Senior Manager of Private Client Services and created their Northwest Investment Advisory Services. Erik brings extensive high net worth experience having managed in excess of $700 million in client assets. Prior to Arthur Andersen, he was with The Rainier Group where he specialized in investment management consulting and estate planning. Erik graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Business Administration. Outside of Freestone he enjoys time with his family, golf, running, and skiing.
ROBERT CARTER, CFA
Managing Director - Wealth Management
Robb began his investment career at the Frank Russell Company in 1991 as an auditor of institutional investment portfolios. In 1994 he moved to Oppenheimer & Co. and spent the next 16 years providing comprehensive wealth management solutions to high net worth families, corporations, and foundations. He graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with a BA in Finance (with honors), and while at Frank Russell obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR). Robb was recognized in Seattle Magazine as one of the “Top in Client Satisfaction Wealth Advisors “in the Puget Sound region for 2007, 2008 and 2009. Robb enjoys skiing, snowmobiling, and other outdoor activities with his family.
ANDREW ERISMAN, CIMA

Andrew joined Freestone in May of 2009 after 18 years at Oppenheimer & Co. providing comprehensive wealth management solutions to high net worth families, corporations, and foundations. In 2002 he earned the designation Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) from the Investment Management Consulting Association (IMCA). Andrew was recognized in Seattle Magazine as one of the “Top in Client Satisfaction Wealth Advisors “in the Puget Sound region for 2007, 2008 and 2009, and in 2009 was voted “Best Financial Adviser” in the 425 Magazine annual reader’s poll*. Andrew enjoys spending time with his family at his cabin in Leavenworth Washington, and taking advantage all of the outdoor activities available in the area. Andrew graduated from the University of Washington with a BA in Political Science.

Bob began his career at U.S. Bank over 15 years ago in their investment services division. He subsequently joined Smith Barney’s Consulting Group division, working with advisors to provide investment management consulting services to individuals, corporations, foundations, and retirement plans with assets totaling approximately $1 billion. Joining Freestone as one of its founding members in 1999, Bob provides comprehensive wealth management advice and solutions to high net worth individuals, families, non-profits, and foundations. He was recognized in Seattle Magazine as one of the “Best in Client Satisfaction Wealth Advisors” in 2008 and 2009. Bob also serves on the Board of Directors for New Futures, Invest In Youth, and Fortune Bank. A northwest native, Bob resides in Bellevue where he enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing a variety of outdoor activities.
KEVIN PATRICK
Managing Director - Administration & Operations
Kevin Patrick began his career at Merrill Lynch over 20 years ago and worked in both Seattle and New York City. His experience encompasses corporate cash management, corporate benefit plans and wealth management for high net worth individuals and families. Kevin's team at Merrill Lynch directly managed over $450 million in client assets. A Northwest native, Kevin lives in Seattle with his wife and two children. He formerly served as an officer of the Magnolia Community Club and currently serves as an arbitration panelist on the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) dispute resolution forum and on a advisory panel for the Port of Seattle’s Pier 91. Kevin and his family enjoy a range of the Pacific Northwest’s entertainment opportunities.
PETER WICKLUND, CFA, CFP

Peter Wicklund joined Freestone after spending 12 years with Merrill Lynch advising affluent individuals and families. Peter began his career in the financial industry as an officer in U.S. Bank's Trust Department, where he managed both personal and corporate trust relationships. As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and a Chartered Financial Analyst designee (CFA), Peter has broad and extensive knowledge in financial planning and investment strategy. He is a member of the Seattle Society of Financial Analysts, a graduate from the University of Washington, and lives in the Madison Park neighborhood of Seattle with his wife and three daughters, where the family actively enjoys the Northwest outdoors.
PETE FORRAS

Pete Forras’ career in the investment industry began over twenty years ago, starting with his first role as an investment advisor in 1985. In 1992, he joined Banc of America Investments in an advisor role, and, in 1994, he became the youngest sales manager in the Banc of America system. In 1998, Pete resumed his career as an investment advisor with Banc of America, where he managed $100 million in client assets. From 2004 to 2009, Pete took a hiatus from the investment world to focus on philanthropic endeavors as a project coordinator with a nonprofit organization in the Philippines, where he was responsible for establishing strategic partnerships with other non-profit groups and managing grants and micro-loans for economic development projects in poor urban areas of Manila. In July of 2009, he resumed his career in the investment business as an investment advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors in Bend, OR, before joining Freestone in April of 2011.
KIMBERLEE HANSEN
Director - Wealth Management
Kim Hansen entered the investment industry in 1992 after graduating from Western Washington University and working for a global technology company in a marketing role. She gained experience first in hands-on and in supervisory roles in trading and operations, and then became a portfolio management associate at Smith Barney. As one of the founding members of Freestone, Kim served initially as the firm’s Operations Manager and Compliance Officer and now provides wealth management advice and service to some of the firm’s largest client families and outside partner firms. Outside of Freestone, Kim enjoys an active lifestyle including running, biking, and keeping up with the activities of her 4 children.
JOHN SWANSON, AAMS
Director - Wealth Management
John Swanson joined Freestone’s Client Advisor team in January 2012 as the founding member of our Bend, Oregon, office. Prior to joining Freestone, John spent nearly ten years with Wells Fargo Advisors, serving as Senior Financial Advisor and Vice President – Investments, where he worked closely with sixty families. Earlier in his career, John served as Portfolio Manager and Director of Sales for Peritus Asset Management, a boutique high-yield bond firm in Santa Barbara, California, and previously as a Financial Consultant with Merrill Lynch Private Client Group, where he worked with a team managing over $300 million in client assets. John earned his BA in Communication Studies from Westmont College, and has been awarded the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®) designation from the College for Financial Planning. He currently serves as Treasurer for The Lord's Chips, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for the orphans of Mexico. John and his wife live in Bend with their four children and are active in their church and enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities.
