May 2009 Freestone expands the firm’s Client Advisor team and total assets under management with the addition of the Carter Erisman Group. Robert P. Carter, CFA, and Andrew W. Erisman, CIMA, both have advanced industry credential and bring a combined 30+ years of client advisory experience to the firm.

March 2008 The Sienna Group invests $40 million to become a major shareholder of Freestone Capital Management. Sienna Group Managing Partner Scott Svenson and his team bring a wide range of corporate expertise (Apax Partners & Co., CrestaCare plc, Seattle Coffee Company, Starbucks) to the management of Freestone’s business.
