Matt currently serves as our Chief Operating Officer having joined Freestone in 2015. Prior to his role as COO, Matt was the Managing Director of Client Service and Operations. He began his career in wealth management in 2005 as an analyst at Convergent Wealth Advisors working with high net worth individuals. Before joining Freestone in 2015, he worked as Senior Consultant for Envestnet | Tamarac. Matt was responsible for the implementation, training, and consulting of new firms using the different wealth management programs within the Advisor Xi suite.
Education
Matt earned a Bachelors degree in Management at Taylor University, holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation and obtained his Series 65 license.
Outside Freestone
In his spare time, Matt loves spending time with his family and friends, traveling, going to concerts, and trying out local beers wherever he can.
