Freestone is searching for qualified candidates to join our team as an Operations Analyst that will directly support Freestone’s core client reporting/billing needs across the firm.  Successful candidates for this position will have a demonstrated track record of educational and/or professional achievement, along with a passion for operational structure and efficiency within a financial services environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as Operations Team liaison with Client Advisor Teams, Accounting, Compliance, Investments, and Corporate Reporting

  • Provide firm wide portfolio performance expertise across all asset classes and account types

  • Drive operational efficiencies around the quarterly client reporting process, review, and hard copy mailings

  • Create and implement on-going enhancements of quarterly and ad hoc reports

  • Develop dynamic Client Portal Dashboards and manage the Client Portal experience, including Client Portal document postings

  • Shepherd Freestone’s quarterly billing process including daily billing system verifications

  • Effectively implement procedures for non-standard client account feeds including manual accounts

  • Process monthly Composite statistics across Freestone strategies

  • Provide support and review of Client Contracts, Investment Policy Statements, and Client Profile documents for the Freestone’s Chief Compliance Officer


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business management; other degrees will be considered

  • 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry preferred

  • Ideal:  Experience with Tamarac applications:  Advisor View and Advisor CRM

  • Experience with SQL preferred, but not a requirement

  • Solid understanding of investment performance measurements and statistics

  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Demonstrated outstanding client service and interpersonal skills

  • Exceptional listening, written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to thrive in a team environment

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and changing priorities
