John joined Freestone Capital Management as a Client Advisor in 2018. He began his career in 2006 at Merrill Lynch in San Francisco and developed his craft during a particularly exciting period for the capital markets. He considers discipline, intentionality and a focus on What Truly Matters to each investor as key to not only investing but also a well-lived life.
Education
John earned a BS in Psychology from the University of Iowa with minors in Philosophy & French and holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.
Outside Freestone
John is an outdoorsman who enjoys cycling, surfing and long hikes. He is most proud of the relationship cultivated with his family; his wife, Abby and their three children. He also travels Europe extensively and speaks multiple languages.
