Lindsey has over fifteen years of experience as a tax and estate planning attorney working with high-net-worth families to protect and preserve their wealth, benefit future generations and further their values through charitable giving and family wealth-preservation structuring. Before moving to Seattle, she practiced in New York City for ten years, primarily with the Tax Department at Debevoise & Plimpton and in the Private Client Department at Arnold & Porter. Her legal practice focused on charitable giving strategies, pre-liquidity tax planning, international estate and tax planning, asset protection, and international and domestic estate/trust administration. Prior to joining Freestone, Lindsey was the Director of Advanced Planning at a Seattle RIA, assisting clients with structuring of advanced gifting and estate planning strategies, as well as with business succession and charitable giving strategies. She is a problem-solver who loves helping her clients secure the future of their families and further their values. It is her goal to bring peace of mind to her clients during times of change so that they can focus on what matters most.


Lindsey earned a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School and an LL.M. in Taxation (Estate and Gift) from NYU School of Law. She earned her BA from Vassar College.

Outside Freestone

Lindsey is an avid music fan – she loves attending live concerts with her son. She loves cooking and obsessively checks out new cookbooks from the library as soon as they’re available. She lives at the very top of Squak Mountain and loves to hike and forage in the forest.
