To receive the Five Star Wealth Manager award, a wealth manager must satisfy 10 objective eligibility and evaluation criteria that are associated with wealth managers. Factors considered include assets under management and client retention rate.

According to Five Star Professional, 3,339 Seattle-area wealth managers were considered for the award; 260 (8% of candidates) were named 2024 Five Star Wealth Managers.
