206.707.7399JT works closely with affluent and multigenerational families, serving as a trusted advisor and primary resource across their investment and broader wealth management needs. He partners with clients to develop and execute comprehensive wealth strategies that integrate investment management, liquidity planning, and broader financial considerations. JT takes an active role in overseeing portfolio construction and implementation, managing liquidity and capital needs, evaluating portfolio positioning, and coordinating with clients’ external tax, estate, legal and other professional advisors. Through this integrated approach, he helps families navigate complex financial decisions and ensures their wealth strategy remains aligned with their evolving objectives, priorities, and long-term goals.
Prior to joining Freestone, JT was a Vice President and Advisor at an RIA focused on managing multigenerational family wealth. His responsibilities included overseeing client portfolios, rebalancing and trade implementation, and coordinating closely with clients and their outside advisors. He also played an integral role in turning broader client objectives into actionable investment and wealth management strategies, with a focus on ensuring consistent execution and a high level of service across complex family relationships.
Education
JT graduated with honors from St. Olaf College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a concentration in Finance. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation.
Outside Freestone
Outside of work, JT enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and exploring new places. An avid sports fan, he also enjoys staying active and can often be found on the golf course or at the hockey rink.
