206.707.7399McKenzie joined Freestone in 2020 and serves as a Client Manager on the Brazile team. She works closely with clients to ensure every element of their financial lives is thoughtfully coordinated and executed with care.
In her role, McKenzie supports the development and implementation of comprehensive financial strategies, helping integrate investment management, tax planning, insurance analysis, and estate planning into a cohesive, well-structured plan. She collaborates directly with clients’ CPAs and estate attorneys to facilitate smooth execution of complex strategies, ensuring alignment across all advisors and minimizing gaps or inefficiencies.
Her approach is detail-oriented and proactive, focused on maintaining organization, clarity, and continuity as clients’ needs evolve. By overseeing the operational and planning components of each strategy, McKenzie helps ensure recommendations are implemented accurately and monitored effectively.
Prior to joining Freestone, she gained industry experience as an Investment Operations Intern at Bill & Melinda Gates Investments, where she was exposed to the oversight of a global, multi-billion-dollar portfolio. That institutional perspective informs her disciplined approach and commitment to precision.
Education
McKenzie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington, with concentrations in Finance and International Business and a minor in Spanish. She is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
Outside Freestone
Outside of work, McKenzie enjoys Pilates, golf, skiing, and traveling.
