Drawing on 17 years of industry experience, she translates complex market and portfolio dynamics into actionable insights, providing clients and advisors with perspective to inform portfolio decisions.
Prior to joining Freestone, Carolyn spent 13 years at BlackRock, most recently serving as Head of Market and Portfolio Insights for U.S. Wealth. Previously, she led BlackRock’s Metro Portfolio Consulting team, working directly with advisory teams to construct and refine model portfolios.
Education
Carolyn graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a degree in Economics and Government. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®) designations and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
Outside Freestone
Outside of work, Carolyn enjoys running, skiing and spending time with her husband and two sons.
