206.707.7399Chris entered the wealth management industry over thirty years ago and has focused on working with the wealthy clients of a select group of West Coast tax, legal, and estate advisory firms. Throughout those years he has advised affluent families and individuals on a broad range of topics relating to how best steward their wealth.
Prior to joining Freestone, Chris began his career at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. in 1994, where he helped develop and expand the Professionals Alliance Group (PAG), a unique and focused endeavor working with a recognizable list of CPA and advisory firms based in the Pacific Northwest.
Education
Chris attended the University of Southern California and Seattle Pacific University. In 1998, he was awarded the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation by the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Outside Freestone
Chris was born and raised in Seattle and currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada. When not at the office, you will likely find him enjoying golf, boating, and snow skiing with his son….or coaching youth sports anywhere he feels he can have a positive impact on children’s lives.

Chris was named to the Forbes “Best-In-State Wealth Advisors” list in 2025 and 2026, and was recognized as a Five Star Wealth Manager by Five Star Professional form 2014 to 2024.
Investment Management Consultants Association® (IMCA®) is the owner of the certification marks “CIMA®”, “CPWA®,” “Certified Investment Management Analyst®,” and “Certified Private Wealth Advisor®.” Use signifies that the user has successfully completed IMCA’s initial and ongoing credentialing requirements for certification.
The Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors award is administered by Forbes. The 2025 award was issued on 4/8/2025 based on annual data as of 6/30/2023 – 6/30/2024. The 2026 award was issued on 4/7/2026 based on annual data as of 6/30/2024 – 6/30/2025.
The Five Star Wealth Manager award is administered by Five Star Professional (FSP). The Five Star Wealth Manager awards were received annually for the years 2014–2024, based on annual data as of May 15 through November 30 for the years 2013–2023.
