206.707.7385Jake joined Freestone in 2016 and serves as Managing Director of Fund Accounting for the firm’s alternative investments. In this role, Jake leads financial reporting, investment valuation, and tax compliance for a broad range of alternative funds. Before joining Freestone, Jake spent five years at PwC working in both Seattle and New York City. There, he specialized in tax compliance and consulting for institutional asset and wealth management clients.
Education
Jake holds a Master’s in Taxation and a Bachelor’s in Accounting, both from the University of Washington’s Michael G. Foster School of Business. He is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Outside Freestone
Jake is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking the scenic trails of the Pacific Northwest with his wife, Lisa, their 3-year-old daughter, Luna, and their two dogs, Moose and Jamie. He is an active volunteer with the Washington Trails Association and enjoys giving back to the hiking community. In his downtime, Jake is an avid reader and a budding golfer, always seeking to improve his swing.
