206.707.7399Jennifer brings extensive experience advising businesses on complex corporate transactions and governance matters. As Senior Corporate Counsel at Freestone, she supports the firm’s investment activities, including joint ventures, small- to mid-cap mergers and acquisitions, real estate acquisitions, and investment management mandates. Prior to joining Freestone, Jennifer was a Partner in the Corporate Finance Division at Stinson LLP in Dallas, where she advised clients on mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, corporate governance, and other sophisticated transactional matters. Earlier in her career, she evaluated cross-border mergers and acquisitions and joint venture opportunities for SK Engineering & Construction (now SK Ecoplant).
Education
Jennifer earned a JD from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, an MA in International Educational Development from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a BA in History from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a Certified Corporate Governance Professional through the Society for Corporate Governance and is licensed to practice law in Missouri, Kansas, and Texas, with admission to the Washington State Bar pending.
Outside Freestone
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, exploring Seattle’s restaurants and family-friendly destinations, and traveling. As the mother of a toddler, she’s often on the lookout for parks, trains, construction equipment, and other adventures that capture her son’s imagination.
